This infographic or toongraphic, as we like to call it, was written by Will Gadea and illustrated by yours truly, at IdeaRocket, in New York City. The whiteboard technique has been IdeaRocket's bread and butter ever since producing the show open for the 8th season of Showtime’s hit show Weeds in the whiteboard style. The following gives insight into the history, technique, and approaches to this unique form of storytelling:

The following figure drawings were done at Society of Illustrators, Spring Studio, and The Art Students League. I recently filmed one of my many moleskine sketchbooks and uploaded the video to youtube. The majority are life drawings/ cafe sketches done in person. The following painted pieces and storyboards were done in Photoshop, using a cintiq. The figure drawings were done at The Art Students League and Spring Street Studio, in NYC. The poses range from 1,2,5,10, and 20 minutes. The assortment of sketches were done with a variety of mediums including brushpen, gelpen, calligraphy pen, col-erase pencil, marker, ballpoint pen, etc.
